William Brian Davies founded Talk Buddy with one clear aim: to make professional support more flexible, more human, and more responsive to individual needs.
Growing up, he witnessed first-hand the pressure that came from being in environments where emotional openness wasn’t encouraged. Over time, he recognised the long-term impact that unspoken stress, uncertainty, and mental health struggles can have on a person’s wellbeing, identity, and confidence. This understanding sparked a lifelong commitment to supporting others.
Brian is a qualified, BACP-registered counsellor with extensive experience supporting individuals through a wide range of challenges, always shaping his approach to each person’s unique needs.
With a background in sport, public service, and mental health, Brian brings a calm, empathetic, and judgement-free approach to his work. He believes therapy should feel human and be shaped around the individual. Whether in a quiet room, over a coffee, or while sharing a simple activity, his focus remains the same: helping people feel seen, supported, and better equipped to understand and manage their own experiences.
